Welcome to The House of Blyss. This Terms of Service & Use Agreement ("Agreement") governs your access and use of our website, consulting services, training programs, digital products, and all associated materials. By accessing, using, or purchasing from www.thehouseofblyss.com, you ("Client," "you," "your") agree to abide by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

1. Scope of Services

The House of Blyss provides the following services:

  1. Consulting Services – Personalized guidance on home management, childcare, staffing, and family structure.
  2. Training & Digital Courses – Self-paced professional development courses for home managers, private staff, and families.
  3. Digital Products – Downloadable journals, planners, and structured tools for household organization.
  4. Concierge & Subscription Services – Ongoing support and structured home management coaching.

All services and products are designed for educational purposes only. We do not provide legal, financial, medical, or employment placement services.

2. Payment, Refunds & Cancellations

2.1 Payments

  • All purchases must be paid in full at the time of enrollment unless a payment plan is explicitly offered.
  • Payment plans require timely completion; failure to pay may result in immediate suspension or termination of access.
  • We reserve the right to update pricing at any time without prior notice.

2.2 Refund Policy

  • Consulting Services: Payments are final and non-refundable once services have begun. If you cancel before your first session, a partial refund may be granted at our discretion.
  • Training Courses: Refunds are only available within 7 days of purchase, provided the client has completed less than 20% of the course content. No refunds will be issued after that period.
  • Digital Products: Due to their nature, all digital downloads, planners, and journals are non-refundable once purchased.
  • Subscription Services: Memberships and concierge services are billed on a monthly or annual basis and may be canceled before the next billing cycle. No refunds are provided for partial months of service.

2.3 Cancellations & No-Shows (Consulting Sessions)

  • Clients must provide at least 24-hour notice to reschedule a consulting session.
  • Missed appointments without prior notice are forfeited and will not be refunded or rescheduled.
  • The House of Blyss reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a session due to unforeseen circumstances. If we cancel, we will reschedule at no additional cost.

3. Client Responsibilities

By using our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate personal and billing information.
  • Adhere to respectful communication when interacting with The House of Blyss team members.
  • Use purchased materials solely for personal or household use and not for redistribution.
  • Follow best practices and ethical hiring standards as recommended in our training and consulting.

Failure to comply with these responsibilities may result in immediate termination of services without a refund.

4. Intellectual Property & Usage Restrictions

4.1 Ownership of Materials

  • All training materials, digital downloads, consulting guides, and website content are intellectual property of The House of Blyss.
  • You may not copy, distribute, modify, or resell any part of our training programs, consulting materials, or digital products without express written permission.

4.2 License for Personal Use Only

  • When purchasing a course or digital product, you receive a single-user, non-transferable license for personal use.
  • Unauthorized sharing, reproduction, or public distribution may result in legal action and financial penalties.

4.3 Copyright Violations & Legal Enforcement

  • The House of Blyss actively monitors unauthorized use and distribution of its materials.
  • Any infringement may result in immediate account suspension, legal claims, and financial damages.

5. Disclaimers & Limitations of Liability

5.1 No Guarantees

  • The House of Blyss provides educational services designed to improve home management and staffing practices.
  • We do not guarantee specific results, employment placements, or financial outcomes.
  • Course completion does not grant state-licensed certification and should not be substituted for legal childcare or home management credentials.

5.2 Limitation of Liability

  • The House of Blyss and its affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, website, or digital products.
  • You agree that The House of Blyss is not responsible for decisions made based on our materials.

5.3 Health, Legal & Safety Disclaimers

  • Our services do not replace legal, financial, medical, or emergency response training.
  • Clients are responsible for obtaining CPR, First Aid, or legal household staffing guidance separately if required.
  • We are not responsible for accidents, injuries, or incidents occurring as a result of applying our training recommendations.

6. Privacy & Confidentiality

6.1 Confidentiality of Consulting Services

  • Any information shared during consulting sessions is kept confidential and will not be disclosed unless required by law.
  • Clients agree to not share confidential coaching materials with third parties.

6.2 Data Collection & Privacy

  • By using our website, you consent to our collection and use of data as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
  • We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing.

7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

7.1 Jurisdiction

  • This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of Virginia, United States, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
  • Any disputes shall be handled in Virginia courts.

7.2 Dispute Resolution

  • Before taking legal action, you agree to first attempt mediation with The House of Blyss.
  • If mediation fails, legal claims must be pursued within 12 months of the initial dispute.

8. Termination & Account Suspension

8.1 Grounds for Termination

The House of Blyss reserves the right to terminate access to services, training programs, or digital products if:

  • A client violates these Terms of Service or engages in misconduct.
  • Unauthorized sharing or reselling of course materials is detected.
  • A client harasses or disrespects The House of Blyss team members.

Termination due to a violation of terms is final and non-refundable.

9. Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website, purchasing a service, or enrolling in a course, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

If you do not agree with any part of this agreement, do not use our services.
